Working at a theater is fun right ?

Working at a movie theater is fun right?!
WRONG ! Not when you are nearly 40 years old and stuck in a small town where this is one of the few jobs available to you. It pays minimum wage untile you have been there at least 6 months, then you get a raise, but since it is part time, you do not get enough hours to survive. I am basically a jack of all trades. I am a concessionist one day, the next day I am a closing manager, but most days I am a janitor. In addition to the usual cleaning one would expect, I am required to do " deep cleaning" which means get down on my arthritic hands and knees and lay on the dirty floor and using a toothbrush scrub all the dirt from around the part where the legs of the seats are screwed into the floor. Then scrub the baseboards behind the seats, keep crawling on hands and knees to each seat until all rows are clean. This needs to be done at least once per month. I also have to remove gum from seats and any candy that might be stuck to the floor. Then I have to clean each and every arm rest and drink holder at least once a week. We operate on a shoe-string budget using an old worn out broom and dust pan, an ancient mop, and a dollar store tooth brush. We have an ancient vacuum cleaner that barely works but my boss yells if the floor does not look vacuumed. She also has mood swings and recently she says she left a winning lottery ticket at work along with her keys, but found only her keys, so she feels I must have stolen her lottery ticket.She is now angry with me. Usually she is angry with her assistant manager usually because he wants a certain day off. When she gets angry with you, she cuts your hours, she did that to me at a time when I needed all the money I could get. She also gives you the silent treatment or speaks to you if necessary in a very sarcastic, mean way where you know she is angry. We all live our lives in fear of what mood she is in that day. We also only get paid once per month, which really sucks !!!!
Making popcorn is very tiring and you get all sweaty and stinky,it is not fun, and it really sucks having to try and pick up every piece that people drop on the floor.Not to mention the ground in candy crushed under foot or the dirt on the back of the chairs from people putting their feet up. I get to clean each chair up to remove that by hand too. Sometimes people vomit in the theater or poop all over the toilet seats and guess who gets to clean that up ?
